interests in life
few days back . my colleague asked me a question
" what do u want to work as in future? whats ur interest in work?"
to be honest this is really a tough question .. i dun even have any special interest in anything.. hobbies and personal interest just cant be put to practical use in work ... its just too different
even going for IT is not even a interest ... its merely my best choice of option ... the cheapest and the fastest way to get my degree is to continue IT ... switching field was the next best consideration
but time is a luxury that i cant afford ... the extra salary for 1 +1/2 years is alot and switching field doesnt guarantee i will do better in it
finance was my initial switch ... but dropped the idea quickly when the thought of competing with pple who had 3 years of poly experience in the same sector ... and i simply hate calculating .. but its also one of the best cert to go for , considering the availability of jobs for it
everything comes with pros and cons ... the cons of switching will come with extra load and burden
my mind was thinking at the same time when he asked "is there even a job that anyone is interested in and enjoy doing it? " that opportunity is just too rare .. and doesnt happen for everyone ...
but deep inside i know ... ideally .. i just want a decent job , good colleagues to interact and work with, and decent salary to get by ... save money the same time ... spent considerately and of course .. repay my parents
i should not have the feeling that i have to drag myself to work everyday ... waiting for 5.30 to come ... hi and bye to my colleagues to end my day ... looking forward ONLY to ur salary each month is depressing... considering u will be in there for so long ... u really will need to learn to enjoy working there
so ultimately ... whats the biggest consideration for a job for me ? my conclusion will be a company with supportive colleagues and boss .. i dun even mind if its tough
so long i feel its worth it , so long i know my colleagues will watch my back and so long i feel comfortable working with them ..
but how would u even know the personality of ur colleagues before even joining the company ? it just boils down to luck in the end ... luck always plays a part in everything
anyway thats just some food for thought .. it wont happen any time soon to settle down for all that as of yet .. which is the best part ! taking things one step at a time is the best path to lead urself to ... the time to worry about it will come eventually
no point thinking things thats so far away ... it often takes away ur concentration at present and just dont do anything good but extra worries and stress ...
